Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment Qualification Required
Constable (Grade III)
Education qualification: Candidate must have completed HSLC from a recognised board/council.
Other Qualification: Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate required.
Havilder (Grade III)
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed HSLC from a recognised board/council.
Other Qualification: Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate. The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.
Platoon Commander
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.

Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India and permanent residence of Assam State.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates should have the employment exchange registration certificate in Assam at his/her local employment exchange office.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit: Minimum age 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on January 25th, 2023.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC/ MOBC .
